Job Description

As a service technician/heavy duty semi-trailer mechanic you’ll be on the front line of our business seeing all sort of repairs that are needed to keep these trailers in operating order. Be prepared to work on all aspects of semi-trailers and some truck work as well. We provide solutions for the transportation industry. Each job is preformed in accordance to D.O.T. requirements and industry standards. We are currently hiring for both first and second shifts.

1st Shift:  8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Job Details:

  • Perform repairs and modifications on all styles of trailers
  • Maintain allocated time frame on all repairs and modifications
  • Contribute to the work assignment from acquired experience and knowledge
  • Diagnose and make recommendations on repairs as required
  • Operate a forklift and standard transmission vehicles
  • Perform all types of welding (i.e.- aluminum, mild steel and stainless steel); Mig welding
  • Attend training seminars as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Job Description

As a representative of our Parts Department, you will perform a wide variety of work assignments maintaining established company and industry standards. Under the Parts Manager you will work effectively representing counter sales, trailer service, and the warehouse departments. You will ensure outstanding parts, counter, warehouse, delivery and shipping service consistently.

You should have a positive attitude, pleasant demeanor, excellent communication skills (including listening/talking/email).

Job Details:

  • Ensure outstanding customer relations and service, answer a high volume of incoming telephone calls
  • Service walk-in customers in the Parts Department
  • Assist in checking in incoming parts, stocking shelves, warehouse inventory and delivery orders
  • Process invoices and payments
  • Complete data entry of heavy duty parts and equipment into the Parts Department computers
  • Oversee and demonstrate outstanding heavy duty parts service; respond to a high volume of heavy duty parts inventory tasks overseeing stocking warehouse and shelves, delivery to customers externally and internally; loading and unloading, shipping, packaging, labeling, meeting invoice orders, and discarding damaged parts
  • Under the direction of Parts leadership, oversee and be fully responsible for all aspects of Parts Counter Sales for customers and staff

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid WI State Driver’s License (CDL not require) with a clean driving record is required
  • A minimum of 3 years parts counter/sales/warehouse experience is strongly preferred
  • Automotive/Industrial encouraged to apply
  • Prior counter/computer experience is required
  • Parts Warehouse and Delivery experience is helpful
  • Ability to read, communicate, and respond to internal procedures and documentation directly with customers and internal staff (e.g. at the counter, via telephone).

Job Description

As an alignment technician you’ll be on the front line of our business operating equipment to perform alignments on large (Semi) Trucks and Trailers. This position is responsible to keep equipment in good working order to ensure quality customer service. Required to schedule appointments and respond to customer inquiries regarding service needs. Each job is performed in accordance to D.O.T. requirements and industry standards. We are currently hiring for both first and second shifts. Monday to Friday.  1st Shift 7 AM- 3:30 PM.  Must be able to provide your own tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervision of Alignment / Truck Services Shop Area
  • Visual inspections for repairs needed or preventative maintenance
  • Alignment and adjustment of toe, camber and caster settings to required specifications on Heavy Duty Semi Trailer
  • Alignment/Adjustment of Heavy Duty Trailer Axles
  • Suspension and front end repairs
  • Computer wheel balancing of light trucks, and medium trucks
  • Repairing broken or worn mechanical components
  • Overall appearance and cleanliness of shop area
  • Safety procedures and requirements adhered to as required by OSHA, TIA, NCDOL, and PTC Safety Compliance
  • Receiving telephone calls, scheduling appointments, ordering parts (as requested)
  • Communicate with Service Manager and Store Manager on a daily basis

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years Automotive and Truck Alignment experience or Automotive Alignments
  • Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds
  • Ability to Communicate with customers and management
  • Ability to use computer in conjunction with alignment procedures

As a Sales Coordinator at our Madison/Deforest Store, your daily task is to assist sales team members as needed. Coordinating the sales team by filing documents and communicating relevant information. This is a Full Time Position, Permanent Position.

Job Description

As a representative of our Parts Warehouse Department, perform a wide variety of work assignments maintaining established company and industry standards. Under the Parts Manager you will work effectively representing counter sales, trailer service, and the warehouse departments. You will ensure outstanding parts, counter, warehouse, delivery and shipping service consistently. This is a full time position, but will consider (Flexible) Part Time (Up to 30 Hours/Weekly).

  • Assist shipping and receiving loading/unloading trucks & checking in merchandise and making local deliveries within a 50 mile radius. 
  • Complete data entry of heavy duty parts and equipment into the Parts Department computers
  • Oversee and demonstrate outstanding heavy duty parts service; respond to a high volume of heavy duty parts inventory tasks overseeing stocking warehouse and shelves, delivery to customers externally and internally; loading and unloading, shipping, packaging, labeling, meeting invoice orders, and discarding damaged parts
  • Utilize internal process working with packing slips, invoices, tags, and purchase orders
  • Oversee and ensure outstanding warehouse, delivery and shipping service consistently

  • Operate forklift and standard transmission vehicles.  Oversee maintenance of the delivery vehicle and forklift, upkeep of periodic maintenance to completion and inform management of needed repairs
